Oh, I keep seeing that Sherman Alexie book everywhere now... I really have to read it! Loved Oscar Wao. I've been hearing a lot of good things about A Tale for the Time Being. Terrific list!

ReplyDeleteSuch a fun topic! I'm not even ready to think of my favorites so far this year, although I can probably think of three or four titles off the top of my head if I really wanted to.
ReplyDeleteYou've come up with a great list. I really liked The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian when I read it. The only other book you've mentioned that I have read is The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, which I remember liking as well.
Great choices! I loved the audio version of This is How You Lose Her (read by the author) and have been meaning to pick up Oscar Wao ever since.
